At the heart of The DAGG’R is a 2-in-1 analog dirt powerhouse with separate knobs to dial in the amount of overdrive vs. fuzz character, which alone makes for a killer pedal, but of course we couldn’t stop there! After months of obsessive tweaking, we finally dialed in the perfect tone section this monster deserved. It provides a musical range throughout its sweep & is genuinely useful from 0-100%. But still...can’t stop there! We added a 3-position Mids switch to really maximize the tone options (Slight Boost, Scoop, & Mega-Boost), & a 3-position Voice switch too (tone bypass, standard, diode clipping). Between the tone knob, Mids switch & Voice options, it’s truly capable of almost any overdrive/fuzz tone your imagination can conjure up.
The dirt circuit may be the heart of The DAGG’R & make for a tremendous tool by itself, but it’s the brain that really sets it apart—the fully analog D.A.G.G.™ circuitry (Dynamic Auto-Gain/Gate). Think of it as 2 separate gain modes that you can smoothly or violently morph between based on how hard you play (or an expression pedal, external trigger, or the right footswitch). Let’s call them Gain1 & Gain2. The top half of the pedal sets master volume & tone as well as Gain1 (via Fuzz & O.D. knobs), while the bottom half sets Gain2 & how both gains interact (Sensitivity, Smooth, Max Gain, Limit, & O.D./Fuzz). The Smooth knob decides how long it takes to morph back to Gain1 (like a “Release” control on a compressor), going from nearly instant to about 5-seconds. The O.D./Fuzz switch chooses whether Gain2 will increase overdrive or fuzz, the middle position turns the entire D.A.G.G. section off (if you want to trigger it not with your playing, simply turn Sense to 0%—now the right footswitch, external trigger or expression input triggers the D.A.G.G.). The Limit knob limits the volume of Gain2 which can help match volume for both gain modes (only really needed with an amp). Just for fun, we made the Limit knob duck volume too, opening up even more options like a side-chain “ducking” effect or a CV-controlled tremolo. We also made sure the limiter turns on with the right footswitch (Max Gain) for maximum usability. & one of my favorite features, when using the right footswitch, the Smooth control still works! This means you can morph slowly from Gain2 to Gain1 using only the footswitch or even do volume swells with the limiter.
Everytime I play this pedal, I end up playing 10x longer than planned because of the almost infinite tones & new techniques/sounds you can discover using the D.A.G.G. features. It has the unpredictable excitement of analog with the functionality you’d expect from digital. So throw your DAGG’R on your board & start slicin’ through some mixes & sharpening your unique sound!

The DAGG’R lives inside a durable yet beautiful sand-texture enclosure with pure aluminum knobs and gold side jacks. For the first 50 units, it includes a pure brass front serial number plate & custom LED lenses containing fragments of rare artifacts inside related to the pedal’s name. Inside the LED of the first 50 DAGG’Rs are fragments from the blade of an authentic WWII military issue knife (RH-36). Soldiers used their knives for tons of different things like opening food, digging trenches or shaving. Some would also collect enemy knives as souvenirs such as German Luftwaffe gravity knives or Japanese bayonets. It’s possible, not probable, but possible this knife killed a Nazi. It doesn’t get more punk rock than that.
