The StompExpress (the first installment of The Expressionist Series) is the world’s cutest expression pedal. It appears to be a simple stomp switch at first look, but the footswitch itself is pressure sensitive & acts as a full-featured expression or CV pedal.
With a single button & LED on the side, it has a surprising amount of options. You can select between expression out or CV out. You can invert the motion if you want the expression to go the opposite way. You can change the motion curve of the footswitch so it’s either more sensitive in the first half of movement, second half, or linear throughout (this helps it work better on any given pedal you plug it into). Lastly, you can set a custom window. For instance, if you love how an expression parameter sounds from 10%-60%, you don’t have to dial that in with the pedal, you can simply set that window right on the StompExpress & it’ll even save it for next time.
Only requiring about 25mA of power, you can easily daisy chain a pedal to power the StompExpress, & you’ll certainly never have trouble fitting it on your board! It also includes a heavier spring that is more suited for foot use (if you want to use it with your hand, let us know & we can provide a lighter-weight footswitch).
